Verizon Chaperone Gets an Update

Verizon's Chaperone service has just become better! Chaperone is a location based service (LBS) that allows parents to track the where abouts of theif children using the GPS functionality of their cell phone. The service has just been updated to include turn by turn directions to thei childs handset via Verizon Navigator, and SMS alerts when a handset leaves a predetermined zone. The most anticipated functionality however, adds the ability to control the amount of minutes, Text messages, and how much is spent on downloadable media and content. The Chaperone 2.0 will be charged at $10 per line for tracking, and $5 additional per month to control usage.
