Google Gets Hyper-local

Google has announced via blog that they have begun to offer hyper-local search advertisement.  The advertisement will allow businesses to target local users with a search add if they have opted into sharing their location with Google.  The ads can only be targeted to location enabled devices with a full web browser such as the iPhone or Android devices.  The ads will display with distance I formation to enable viewers to understand how close they are to that business.
