Verizon Wireless has announced that long promised tiered data is only 4
- 6 months away. Verizon has been keeping the stance that data should
be set in usage tiers, and that they would start with the roll out of
their 4G network LTE. There is no word yet as to how this will affect
Verizon's 3G data services, but Verizon's CEO Ivan Seidenburg said while
speaking with investors on Thursday "We didn't need to be first on
tiered pricing. We're not sure we agree yet with how At&t valued the
data." Verizon may well change the value proposition on their packages
and make them different than At&t
