Verizon Gets Omnia2 For The Holidays

Verizon Wireless has announced the Samsung Omnia2 will be available starting December 2nd.  The unit is expected to tout many improvements over the previous.  Windows Mobile 6.5, TouchWiz 2.0.  The phone will also debut Samsung's "Swype" Technology.  Swype will allow faster input of text using a continuous motion with a finger or stylus.  The device will also support a 5MP camera with Auto-Focus, Flash, and  onboard editing/video capture.  The device will support the camera abilities with an 8GB of onboard memory, and an expansion slot capable of holding a 16GB microSD card.  The phone will further support Bluetooth, GPS, and Wifi.  Like the Samsung Rogue, the Omnia will sport an AMOLED WVGA display that measures 3.7 inches of brilliantly displayed goodness.  The Omnia2  will sell for $200 after rebates and a two-year agreement.
