Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, mentioned at a recent speaking engagement that Windows Mobile 6.5 is on the companies planned path to Windows Mobile 7. Windows Mobile 6.5 has not previously been addressed in any official capacity by a representative of Microsoft. Ballmer did not elaborate any further on features, but said we should watch for it on devices in 2009.
