Sprint announced today that the Blackberry Curve 3G will be released in
2011. The Curve 3G will include Blackberry 5.0 software out of the box,
and is upgradable to 6.0 when that is ready for prime time. Device
features include the new staple optical track pad, 2.0 MP camera, media
keys, Wifi, and will handle up a a 32Gb media card. The device will
include a 2Gb media card in the retail kit. The Blackberry is being
billed as a low cost 3G smart phone for social networking, but will
include support for Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, and the standard
gauntlet of Blackberry App World Applications.
