Apple is ending the free bumper case program starting September 30,
2010. Apple believes the attenuation problem caused by the "left handed
death grip" is not as severe as they expected. The return policy on All
iPhone 4s will return to its original terms after the 30th. Apple
advises customers that experience antenna problems on a phone purchased
after this date should contact Apple care to request a free bumper
case. Apple will still provide them free, but only for customers that
demonstrate the need for the bumper.
