Nokia Outs Inexpensive Touch Screen

Nokia has announced the 5230 as the latest addition to their touch screen portfolio. The phone will support Nokia music store, and the Ovi store directly from the device. Ovi Maps with aerial images will come pre-installed on the A-GPS enabled handset. The handset will be competitively priced at 149 EUR. Then handset will support navigation, Social networking applications, media, and has an onboard 3.5 mm headset jack. The media player will support 33 hours of playback.
Nokia expets to begin shipping this handset in the fourth quarter 2009. Slated to be available in New Delhi, India and Espoo, Finland. Carriers will support this device both stand alone, and in select markets accompanied by Nokia's Comes with Music service.
