Torch Mobile announced today that they have been aquired by Research In Motion. Torch mobile is an application development company that has developed the IRIS web browser. The IRIS browser is a web-kit based software. This new browser is bound for the Blackberry platform. This comes shortly after an announcement by RIM to bring both Macromedia's Flash, and Microsofts Silverlight to their Blackberry platform.
