Google Delays Chineese Android Release

Posted by Kallan Dahn Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Due to recent tension between Google and the Chineese goverment, Google has chosen to delay the release of Android in their country.  Google has recently been the victim of many Cyber-Attacks comming from China.  The attacks were made on Gmail accounts owned by known Chineese disidents.  Resulting from the attacks, Google has announced that they would no longer censor their Chineese version of their website.  Google intends to hold this position and has made it known they are willing to completely shut down operations within China.  Google did not provide any further information about the delay.
