T-Mobile USA has decided to shed a little light on the allegations from the last couple days that T-Mobile may have been hacked. The wireless giants statement reafirmed their position on making every effort to protect customers information. They also reaffirmed that they will notify those affected as soon as possible. T-Mobile did manage to confirm that a hack did in fact take place, and issued the following statement. "Regarding the recent claim on a Web site, we've identified the document from which information was copied, and believe possession of this alone is not enough to cause harm to our customers."
Then followed it immediately with the fact they can not give any more details to "protect the integrity" of their investigation. T-Mobile did however, make it clear that no evidence of customer, or company data being compromised has been found.
