Verizon wireless has finally announced the Blackberry Storm. The storm will be available exclusive to Verizon Wireless customers in the US, and to Vodaphone customers in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand. Expect the phone later this fall.
The Blacberry Storm features dual band CDMA radios, and Quad band GSM radios. The first-of-its-kind touch screen Blackberry has just as much for consumers as it does for enterprise users. This Blackberry sports a 3.2 MP camera with zoom, GPS, 1GB of on board memory that is expandable via MicroSDHC card up to 16Gb, Media player, 3.5mm headset jack, Stereo Bluetooth, accelerometer, amber light sensor, and a very capable battery. Battery life is claimed at 6 hours of talk time, and 15 days of standby time.
