Live Blog: FCC Decision for Alltel / Verizon Merger

Posted by Kallan Dahn Wednesday, October 29, 2008

The FCC has released an official agenda for the November 4th meeting. The agenda looks very full this month, as they will be voting on the Alltel/Verizon Merger, the Sprint/Clearwire Merger, vote on the fate of "white space" technology, and address concerns regarding carrier compensation for roaming rates (and I assume roaming negotiations). The last several months of the wireless industry will culminate in a few hours. I will be live blogging the entire commission meeting. You will be able to find the blow by blow right here on the web site. The action starts at 11 AM. Nov 4th. Hope to see you all there.
