Telstra has completed an upgrade of its network to the newer HSPA+, or enhanced HSPA. Customer of this Austrailian based company will be able to fly around the net at speeds up to 21Mbps. Other operators are expected to follow suit. The network upgrade will help to fill the gap from current HSPA services until LTE gets released this comming year. Last week we brought you an article stating that At&t was intending their LTE network to be 5 years out before they intend to deploy it. They further emphasised that the network could be tuned to increase the speed. I would bet that we will see At&t overlay HSPA+ in the near future.
