Verizon Wireless has just announced that they will release the HTC Droid Incredible starting today April 19th.  The initial release will be available online only, but Verizon will stage a secondary release in-store on April 29th.  The phone will cost $300 after $100 mail in rebate with a 2 year contract.

This phone has become the most powerful device in the Verizon Wireless line-up bosting a 1 Ghz snap dragon processor that will power Android 2.1 with HTC's newly patched Sense UI.  The phone will also feature a 3.7 inch OLED WVGA Touch Screen Display.  To top off this mountain of geeky goodness the phone pushes a pixel popping 8MP camra on board.
