Xperia X10 Android Device

Sony Ericsson has announced the first of the phone line up slated from 2010. The Xperia X10 will be an Android powered device running on Android 1.6 (Donut). The 1Ghz Snapdragon processor is certainly going to offer in impressive amount of power to a mobile device. Sony Ericsson decided to step up to the plate and produce some of their own content for the device. Flagship applications that will release with the device are Timescape and Mediascape. Timescape is an all in one messaging applications that promises to unify text communications from social networks, SMS, MMS, and email all in one place. Mediascape is a media management applications to quickly enable users to find youtube, and other media content. The application will also link to Ericsson's own PlayNow App store. The phone will feature a 4 Inch WVGA touch display with scratch resistance, Quad-band GSM radios, and 2 different 3G configurations. The camera capabilities are boosted to 8.1 Megepixel with geo-taggin, face/smile detection, stabalization, auto-focus, and flash. Other radios include Bluetooth A2DP, GPS, Wi-Fi, and like all other Android based devices, will be integrated with google services. The handset will be available first quarter 2010, and you can choose from black or white.
