Nokia Celebrates The New Year Early

Nokia has decided to celebrate the new year just a little early this year, by providing us a glimpse of a couple of devices slated for first quarter 2010.  Common features of the two phones inlcude Tri-band WCDMA for North America (3G frequencies 850/1900/2100mhz) and Quad-Band GSM/EDGE radio.  Bluetooth, FM Radio, Ovi, and MicroSD support are also shared. 

6700 Slide
This beauty features a 5MP camera complete with Carl Zeiss optics, Autofocus, and Flash.  The camera will also support video capture at 15 frames per second.  Onboard photo editing functions supports the high end  optics in this device.  The 6700 Slide will run on Nokia's Famous S60 platform.  Expected cost is $240.

7230
The 7230 is a mid-grade handset that downgrades some of the features of teh 6700 Slide.  The camera is a 3.2MP with standard optics.  The handset howver will include Nokia Xpress Audio messaging, and run on S40. Expected Cost is $150.
