Neither Sprint/Nextel or Motorola have announced the Motorola i680. Discerning users however, can find it non-the less on the FCC's labarynth of a website. The new handset is iDEN and ruggedized. The iDEN signal will be supported on the 800/900mhz bands. The handset also sports an external discplay, camera with flash, headset jack, and MicroSD card support. The unoffical version of the manuals claims support for threaded messaging, media playback, and PTX services.
