AT&T Purchases Wayport

AT&T has purchased WiFi netowrk operator Wayport for $275 Million. Wayport has 2,800 wifi locations that will combine with AT&T's existing Wifi locations resulting in AT&T controlling aproximatly 20,000 hotspots in the United States. This deal will allow iPhone and Blackberry users more free Wifi locations including McDonalds, Wyndham, Marriott Vacation Club, and Four Seasons hotels.
