Symbian Foundation Expands Again

The open source Symbian foundation has added even more members. Contributing members of the foundation are freely available to license the new software from the foundation without the need to pay royalties. The recent expansion in membership brings the total member count to 52. ARM, Visa, Huawei, and nine others join the Symbian Foundation. Nokia expects the Symbian Foundation to release a completely new platform by June 2010.
