Email Addictions: New Study Released

A new study has just been released by Osterman Research, that identifies potential problems with email addiction. 94% of the studies respondents admitted to sending email and text on work nights and weekends, of those 96% keep their phone with them at all times. 79% will send a message from the bathroom, 77% while driving a moving vehicle, 41% during a flight, and 11% during intimate behavior. There are real risks with a persons relationships with email addiction. 80% of the IT professionals surveyed believe that the loss of mobile email would inhibit executive managers ability to make critical time-sensitive decisions. Really, what do they need an answer to so badly that their senior managers can not even potty in peace!
