Sony Ericsson is anticipating their newest Windows Mobile 6.1 Masterpiece. The Xperia X1 will use a combination of "panels", on device applications, and web based applications. Sony Ericsson has decided it will make a Software Development Kit or SDK available so developers will be able to make their own programs to run on the device, including custom panels. They have not yet released specifics on the launch of the device, but the SDK does come with information that will allow you to pre-test the applications.
