Qwest communications formerly partnered with Sprint/Nextel to resell wireless service to their subscribers. Verizon will not be the wireless partner of choice for Qwest wireless users in their residential coverage area. Qwest and Verizon have a 5 year agreement, and Qwest customers can expect to be contacted soon by the carrier to switch them into newer Verizon service plans and phones.
