Posted by Kallan Dahn Wednesday, July 16, 2008

No I have not lost my marbles by spending too much free time surfing the web. The newest technology from Thrrum allows you to "click" any text you find in the world with your camera phone to search the web. You must use a camera phone equipped with either auto focus or macro mode. Snap the picture and MMS to m@thrrum.com

"Point your phone at any text, click, and the information you need is displayed right on your phone. With Thrrum Cameraphone Search, any text that you see around you becomes a hyperlink that can be "clicked" upon with your cameraphone." [Source: Thrrum.com]

T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint have all been added to users allowed to use the Thrrum search service. The MMS search uses highly advanced visual recognition technology to perform the search and deliver relevant links directly to your cell phone. Your world is a hyperlink "click" it.
