The week has certainly been the week to find strange charging equipment. This one has got to be the more impracticle that I have ever seen. Orange a company in the UK developed an armband prototype called "Dance Charge". The theory is that the armband stores the kinetic energy from your dance moves, and can use them later to charge you cell. This is getting a little rediculous, how many people are just going to start dancing everytime they need a cell phone charge. I would think a more practicle use for this technology would be to develop a belt (just like the one for holding your pants up) that will store kinetic energy. Movement of any part of your body comes from the hips and waist. This way people could really be charging their phones while they are resting in their rightful place in their belt clip, or pocket doing things that they are already doing anyways. Good technology, bad execution.
