Casio has just announced the development of a new 2 inch LCD screen that is one quarter the resolution of HD. (546ppi) The screen offers an amazing viewing angle of 160 degrees while displaying 16.77 million colors. Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT technology or HAST makes this possible. Higher resolution displays will improve the media experience in mobile phones. Casio has it's eye on mobile phone adoption, but the screens are going to need to be bigger for mainstream.
